DES 240 Industrial Design I 3 credit hours
Industrial Design I builds on the design skills, terminology, and software applications learned Design Thinking and Graphic Design I. Students will design, iterate, prototype, and solve basic engineering problems primarily involved in the creation of production-ready, functional objects. Students will learn to create and prepare 2D vector designs and bitmap graphics for use in laser cutting and engraving.
Prerequisite: DES 100 Design Thinking or DES 120 Graphic Design I Studio Fee: $75 Liberal Arts: Fine/Performing Arts Course is Offered: FA and WI Every Year
