DES 100 Design Thinking 3 credit hours
This is a foundations level course and is required of all design and art majors in their first year in order to advance the Department’s learning outcomes. In this course, emphasis will be placed on researching and developing creative solutions for design and art. Students will learn contemporary analog and digital design practices, design tools, and color theory. Students will also engage in creative/experimental processes and make effective use of the elements and principles of design in compositions expressed in both 2D and 3D forms.
Prerequisite: None Studio Fee: $75 Liberal Arts: Fine/Performing Arts Course is Offered: FA Every Year
