Catalog Addendum

Catalog Changes - changes to catalog layout and other navigational changes

• “Advanced Placement”, “College Level Examination Program (CLEP)”, “International Baccalaureate Program (IB)”, “Prior Learning Credit” and “Graduate College Credit for Prior Learning Experience” have been removed from Special Programs and Services and are now found other the Alternative Credit   page.
• “Contract Major” has been removed from Special Programs and Services and are now found under Degrees, Programs & Policies  
• Workforce Development  programs are available for reference.

Catalog Addendums - changes to policies or degree requirements that are effective as of the date listed in the addendum

• The BFA in Graphic Design program was discontinued effective for the 2023 Catalog.
• The graduation fee for all graduates is removed effective 2023 Summer.
• NUR 266  switched from being offered every Winter to being offered every Fall [05/12/2023]
• NUR 336  switched from being offered every Fall to being offered every Winter [05/12/2023]
• “Any lessons, ensembles, and/or stagecraft offered in the Division of Visual and Performing Arts AND/OR” removed from Design, B.F.A. Illustration Track cognates [05/24/2023]
• “Any lessons, ensembles, and/or stagecraft offered in the Division of Visual and Performing Arts AND/OR” removed from Art, B.A. cognates [05/25/2023]
• Per the Department of Design + Art, association and accreditation from National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) ended starting 5/8/2023. Consequently, reference to NASAD was removed from “Associations” and “Accreditation” under General Information  [05/26/2023]
• Updates to the Workforce Development policies and Programs and Program Descriptions [06/12/2023]
• Workforce Development - discontinued Clinical Documentation Improvement - Inpatient and Outpatient programs; discontinued Medical Coding & Billing program.  Added 4 new programs. [07/05/2023]
• Updates to the language and terminology associated with the Associate of Applied Science/Inverted Majors, A.A.S  and Bachelor of Applied Science/Inverted Majors, B.A.S.  programs [change made 08/24/2023; effective for the Winter 2024 semester]
• Course fee information removed from course description for SWK 334  per program chair [09/22/2023]
• The title of NUR 266  altered to list the correct title [09/29/2023]
• Integrated Science, B.A.  and Social Studies, B.A.  programs (secondary education only) reactivated after being mistakenly inactivated [09/29/2023]
