DES 120 Graphic Design I

3 credit hours

This is a foundations level course and is required of all design and art majors in their first year in order to advance the Department’s learning outcomes. The course offers an introduction to the basic concepts of graphic design and visual communication using typographic, pictorial, and symbolic elements. Emphasis is placed on ideation and the iterative design process as well as professionally packaging files and color profiles for production.
