Option I

Compatible to the related fields in psychology, social work, private and public child care centers, clinics, recreation, and the human services. Required for students not seeking elementary teacher certification:

Option II:

Designed for students interested in preschool education and teaching early education grades. All students pursuing the Early Childhood-Child Development endorsement must complete the elementary comprehensive major for certification.

Liberal Arts: 29 Credit Hours

General Electives: 46-49 Credit Hours

Total for Degree: 120 Credit Hours

Other Requirements

TSD 101 Fundamentals Of Speech Communication strongly recommended.
Students majoring in Child Development must earn a C- or better in each required course (including cognate requirements) in the major.
Attainment of a 3.0 g.p.a. in the CDV major is a graduation requirement.
