Other Requirements
The following information applies to all tracks within this degree:
- All Design majors must successfully complete the Sophomore Critique process beginning in the sophomore year.
- All BFA Design majors must successfully complete the Junior Critique process beginning in the junior year.
- Design majors must earn a grade of “C-” or better in all DES courses.
- Any student wishing to continue in sequential DES courses must have earned a grade of “C-” or better in all designated prerequisites.
- Design majors must complete a senior project in design approved by one of the primary Design faculty.
- Design majors must present a professional design portfolio in their senior year as approved by one of the primary Design faculty.
