NUR 321 Global & Public Health 4 credit hours
Students in this course will widen their perspectives related to promoting health and preventing disease as they examine health issues that transcend class, race, ethnicity, culture,and national borders. The impact of social determinants of health are examined in relation to community health and wellbeing. Encompasses primary, secondary, and tertiary health promotion and restorative interventions in community-based settings. Practice Experience (PE) required course.
