NUR 366 Maternal-Fetal Nursing Care 4 credit hours
This course focuses on health promotion, acute and chronic health conditions, and the specialized care needs of pregnant women, fetuses, newborns, and their families. The developmental, physiological, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual care needs of pregnant women and their families is discussed. Appropriate nursing care for wellness and illness management during the childbearing years is introduced. This course requires an off campus clinical learning experience.
Prerequisite: NUR 354 Nursing Care for Adults I Course is Offered: WI Every Year
