NUR 290 Population Health I

3 credit hours

This course introduces concepts of population health nursing. The impact of social determinants of health are examined in relation to community health and wellbeing. Emphasis is on primary and secondary health promotion interventions in community-based settings. This course requires an off campus clinical learning experience.
