JEDI 201 Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion: Integrated Studies 3 credit hours
Students will engage with topics including but not limited to racism, sexism, ageism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, and xenophobia through readings and case studies drawn from classical and contemporary sources in history, philosophy, literature, and business. Course content and assignments emphasize the interdisciplinary nature of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion, and are developed for the intermediate course to promote the effective integration of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion material learned in JEDI 101 with deeper and more diverse application to actual best practices.
Prerequisite: “C” or better in JEDI 101 Introduction to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Liberal Arts: WI Every Year
