ENG 101 Reading And Writing I

3 credit hours

Students will be introduced to conventions of academic essay writing, with an emphasis on argumentative writing. Students will develop habits of pre-writing, drafting, revision, and editing, and will practice critical thinking and reading skills as well as ethical source integration and citation.

Prerequisite: C- or better in ENG 100 Basic Writing, or Placement
Liberal Arts: English Composition (College for Professional Studies)
