Course Requirements for Minor

Program Requirements: 12 Credit Hours

Any four of the following:
ACC 361 Managerial Cost Accounting 3 credit hours
FIN 209 Personal Finance 3 credit hours
or
FIN 309 Personal Financial Planning 3 credit hours
FIN 322 Investments 3 credit hours
FIN 348 Money And Capital Markets 3 credit hours
FIN 450 International Finance 3 credit hours

Cognate Requirements: 14 Credit Hours

ACC 203 Principles of Accounting I 4 credit hours
ACC 240 Principles of Accounting II 4 credit hours
ECO 221 Microeconomics 3 credit hours
ECO 222 Macroeconomics 3 credit hours

Total for Minor: 26 Credit Hours

Other Requirements

Twelve (12) credit hours at the 300/400 level must be completed at Siena Heights University. As part of the twelve credit hours a minimum of six (6) credit hours must be FIN courses.
Only 2.0 or higher transfer grades apply to the minor.
Students must earn a 2.5 minimum GPA for all minor course work at Siena Heights University.
Accounting Majors applying ACC 361 must add 3 credits of ACC approved electives to their major.
Students may take FIN 209 or FIN 309 , but not both.
