MCN 101 McNair Academy

This non-credit, repeatable course helps students build academic and professional skills in preparation for eventual participation in the McNair Scholars Program and is taken in conjunction with participation in the McNair Academy (Pre-McNair Program). Topics discussed include but are not limited to: self-advocacy and efficacy; priority and obligation management; professional skills and expectations; financial literacy; reference management; and professional mentor discussion and interactions. This course is repeatable.
Prerequisite: Admission into the McNair Scholars Program
