NUR 466 Nursing Care for Families with Children
4 credit hours
This course focuses on health promotion, acute and chronic health conditions, and rehabilitative needs of children. The developmental, physiological, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual care needs of children and their families are examined. Age appropriate nursing care is emphasized in the context of clinical decision making and wellness/illness management. This course requires an off campus clinical learning experience.
Prerequisite: NUR 354 Nursing Care for Adults I
