NUR 104 Introduction to the Profession of Nursing
1 credit hours
This course introduces students to the profession of nursing. The course provides an opportunity to learn the concepts and theories central to both the art and science of nursing. Nursing history, ethics, culture, and political and socioeconomic factors influencing health and healthcare are explored. Specialty areas of nursing practice are explored as an introduction to career planning.
