MMM 144 Creative Song Writing

Welcome to the world of creating music. This class can be used by anyone who wishes to learn techniques used by the 20th century songwriter. We will help you set goals and get organized to produce and improve your songwriting in any style and at your own pace. We will use technologies and computer applications that will speed up the songwriting process and allow you to create professional sounding music in a final CD. Students will explore looping, sampling song creation and musical forms.
