ART 119 Introduction to Printmaking
3 credit hours
This course includes a comprehensive investigation of traditional and experimental printmaking techniques. Students will explore monotype, relief, intaglio, lithography, and screenprinting methods. The language of printmaking and health and safety standards will be emphasized. Through the projects, students will learn, identify, and apply the basic elements and principles of design within an artwork.
