ART 345 Advanced Animation

3 credit hours

Focus is placed on animation as a form of experimentation and personal expression. Students will be exposed to animation as fine art, and learn a variety of experimental/traditional techniques such as stop motion, cel-based, hand-drawn, under-the-camera, pixilation, etc. Research and study of independent fine art animation will facilitate development of student’s ideas and work.

Prerequisite: ART 349 or ART 118
