MMM 114 Introduction To Music

3 credit hours

The course is designed to acquaint students with the elements of music and primary musical periods of traditional Western classical music. The course will include a brief overview of major composers though class lectures, readings, discussions, and listening. Students will be required to attend live performances and complete research papers and/or oral presentations pertinent to the course material.

Prerequisite: None
Liberal Arts: Fine/Performing Arts
Course is Offered: FA and WI Every Year
