ENR 449 Linear Systems 4 credit hours
This course is an introduction to the generalized theory for analyze linear circuits and systems. A variety of transforms will be applied to systems, allowing for analysis in both the time and frequency domains. Topics to be considered include mathematical representation of continuous and discrete time signals, frequency domain analysis of linear systems, convolution theory, Fourier series, Fourier transform, ideal filters, the Laplace transform and transfer function, and the Z-transform. The visualization of linear systems and analysis will be accomplished using MATLAB.
