EDU 307 Middle School Literacy

3 credit hours

Candidates will plan for culturally responsive, literacy rich learning environments to meet the needs of all learners. They will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of curriculum design and research-based strategies to facilitate student learning in comprehension, composition, literature, syntax, vocabulary, speaking, listening, viewing, and visually representing. Clinical Experience: 20 hours.

Prerequisite: EDU 150 Freshman Seminar I and EDU 201 Principles Of Teaching In School And Society
