EXS 480 Career Development Internship & Research Exploration 3 credit hours
This course presents the student with the opportunity to pursue either an internship or a research project within the exercise and health science fields as it relates to their professional and future plans. The purpose of this course is to provide a supervised fieldwork or research project experience where students can practice theory generation, deconstruct the process of conducting academic research, focus on life goals, seek specific direction for future careers, fulfill prerequisites for graduate education admissions, and enhance leadership and communication skills.
Prerequisite: Junior and Senior Standing Course is Offered: FA Every Year
